Paul-Jean Borowsky was an early member of the French band Martin Circus. Having left the band in 1971, he took part in various musical projects over the years, but also released a significant amount of music under his own alias, PJ Borowsky.
This is one of his most interesting releases : co-written by Didier Barbelivien, the B side « T’As Pas Cent Balles » is a killer modern soul boogie number from 1983. As for the lyrics, Borowsky sings in a very sarcastic tone about the struggling life of a disillusioned street musician, asking for money to go on holiday. Absolute winner.
